Ronaldo scores 60th hat-trick of his professional career for club and country
Cristiano Ronaldo’s heroic against Norwich City in the English top-tier on Saturday afternoon was the 60th hat-trick of his professional career for national team and club.
The former Juventus and Real Madrid forward has scored brace in the first half to send the Red Devils into a two-goal lead at Old Trafford against Norwich City.
Portuguese international forward’s third, which was a long-range free kick, helped Ralf Rangnick’s side to secure three point and remain in the race for the top-four finish.
The 37-year-old has now managed to found back of the net 21 times in all competitions for the 20-times English champions during the 2021-22 season, including 15 goals in 26 PL games.
There remains rumours surrounding the Portuguese international forward’s future at Old Trafford, however, he still has more than a year left to run on his current deal with the 20-time English champions, have options to extend his contract for one more year.
Ronaldo also scored three goals in his last home Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur, who are now only three points ahead of the Red Devils.
