Cristiano Ronaldo sensationally slams the Glazers and says they ‘don’t care about Man Utd’

Cristiano Ronaldo has sensationally called out the Glazer family in his interview with Piers Morgan.

Last Sunday, news of the Portuguese’s sit down session with the high-profile journalist emerged and the first snippets of it went viral on social media.

On Monday, all people could talk about was Ronaldo and Manchester United, despite the fact the Qatar World Cup is now less than a week away.

And a few new video clips from the 90 minute interview have since popped up ahead of the airing of the two-part show in full.

The first to be released on Monday saw Ronaldo call out some of those in power at United for not believing him about serious family issues, problems which caused him to miss most of the team’s pre-season campaign.

In another clip released later in the evening, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner took aim at the Glazer family, the current owners of United who’ve been the subject of countless supporter protests down the years.

Check out the footage, which we reckon will go down far better with Red Devils fans than some of the stuff posted last Sunday…

In the footage, Ronaldo rather damningly said: “The Glazers don’t care about the club… Manchester is a marketing club (for them). The sport, they don’t really care, in my opinion.”

Yeah, he didn’t hold back one bit, just as he didn’t when speaking about former teammate Gary Neville in another clip from the interview which is doing the rounds.

Ronaldo recently blanked the Sky Sports commentator before United’s win over West Ham and has now suggested the Englishman uses his world-renowned name to get more famous.

Video: Ronaldo also calls out Neville & Wayne Rooney over criticism

On blanking Neville in front of the cameras, Ronaldo said: “People can have their own opinion but they don’t really know what is going on, for example, inside the training ground and Carrington area or even my life. They should listen to not only one point of view, they have to listen to my point of view as well.

“It is easy to criticise but if you do not know of the whole story it is easy.”

When asked whether the likes of Neville and Rooney are still his friends, Ronaldo replied: “They are not my friends. It is easy to criticise, I do not know if they have a job in television that they must criticise to be more famous but I really do not understand. I think they take advantage [of Ronaldo’s name] because they are not stupid.

“I have to keep going with my life when they criticise or speak good about you but it is hard when you see people who was in the dressing room with you criticising in that way. I am not going to lose sleep or sleep bad because some criticise but it is not good to listen to that. A little bit disappointing.”
