Cristiano Ronaldo becomes highest goalscorer of all time after hat-trick against Spurs
Man Utd superstar Cristiano Ronaldo became the highest goalscorer of all time after scoring a hat-trick in a 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening.
The 37-year-old forward has now found back of the net 18 times in 31 appearances for Man Utd this season, and he created history with his second hat-trick in the Red Devils jersey against the Spurs.
As recognised by FIFA, Ronaldo broke the record of 805 goals, held by Josef Bican, when he scored his 2nd goal against Antonio Conte’s side in the late kickoff.
Portugal international forward’s goals have come during spells at Sporting, Man United, Juventus and Real Madrid, while his 115 strikes for 37-year-old forward are also taken into account, putting him clear as the greatest finisher in history of football.
