Cristiano Ronaldo shared a heartwarming moment with a young Man Utd fan, he is a class act
Footage has emerged showing Cristiano Ronaldo meeting a young Manchester United fan has gone viral, it was a wonderfully heart warming moment.
The video was captured by a fan waiting outside United’s team hotel in Moldova’s capital city, Chisinau. Ronaldo and his teammates walked out of the hotel and was on the way to boarding the team bus ahead of their match against FC Sheriff in the Europa League.
As Ronaldo emerged, a young fan wearing a United shirt with the number seven on the back ran towards the five time Ballon d’Or winner.
Ronaldo hugged the young boy and asked for a pen to sign the fan’s shirt. You can watch the footage below.
Fans were quick to jump on social media to show their appreciation towards Ronaldo.
One fan said: “What a biggest personality. What a brand .. Simply G.O.A.T things.”
Another tweeted: “That little gesture meant the whole world to that little boy.”
A third fan added: “A father first and then an absolute legend right after.”

After the meeting with the young fan, Ronaldo started and scored in United’s 2-0 win over the Moldovan side. Erik ten Hag’s team are off the mark in the Europa League after suffering a shock 1-0 defeat against Real Sociedad a week prior.
Ten Hag spoke about Ronaldo after the match.
He told MUTV: “Ronaldo needed that goal.
“Many times he came close, but he wanted that so much. We are happy for him and the team wanted to bring him a goal. You know that Cristiano will score a penalty.”
It has been a tough start to the season for Ronaldo after his apparent plead to leave Old Trafford was rejected by the club and the manager.
Back in July, it was reported that Ronaldo was seeking a move away as he wants to play in the Champions League. He missed the large majority of the club’s pre season as a result of his transfer request.
However, a move never materialised and he now has the tough job to work his way back to tip top shape in order to force his way into Ten Hag’s starting eleven.
Teammate Raphael Varane spoke about the reasons behind Ronaldo not starting as many matches as he did last season.
The centre back told TCL Global: “As we said, Ronaldo is here. And, as we all know, he didn’t have a pre-season. You cannot miss pre-season. It’s a base.
“Especially with the game we play, the way we want to play. We don’t play in the same way we did last year, there is no comparison.
“This demands cooperation and it demands certain positioning in – and out – of possession. The other thing is his fitness.”
