‘Embarrassing’ – Robbie Savage was absolutely fuming at Antony’s showboating v Sheriff

Robbie Savage was absolutely fuming at Anthony’s showboating in Manchester United’s match against Sheriff on Thursday evening.

The United forward, who is one of the most skilful players in world football, was in the starting lineup for the match at Old Trafford.

He picked up the ball in acres of space on the right-hand side in the 38th minute and produced his trademark spin.

The Brazilian then tried to find Casemiro but his pass went out of play.

Robbie Savage was not happy at all and vented his fury at Antony.

He said on BT Sport: “That is ridiculous. He’s done that and then put the ball out of play. Quite embarrassing actually. Doing that with nobody near him and then he puts the ball out of play. If I was the manager I would not be happy. You are trying to win a game and move the ball quickly. Embarrassing.”

He added: “There was no one anywhere near… what is the point? And to top it all off he then puts it out his plat. If I was the manager, I’d drag him off.”

Erik ten Hag didn’t look too impressed either.
