Fans thin Diogo Dalot’s reaction while next to Cristiano Ronaldo in Portugal training says it all
Cristiano Ronaldo’s interview with Piers Morgan has got the footballing world talking.
The interview, set to be released on Wednesday and Thursday night looks set to end his career at Manchester United.
In teased clips, Ronaldo claims he’s been ‘betrayed’ by Manchester United and says he doesn’t respect manager Erik ten Hag.
He also slams the owners, The Glazers.
There’s surely no way back for Ronaldo at Old Trafford.
But Ronaldo doesn’t have to worry about club football for a few weeks at least.
He’s dropped his bombshell and scurried off to the Qatar World Cup with Portugal.
However, he can’t get away from Manchester United completely.
That’s because United teammates Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot are in the Portugal squad for the World Cup.
We’ve already shown you the incredibly awkward exchange between Bruno and Cristiano in the Portugal dressing room.
And now, it’s Dalot’s turn.
While there’s no video footage of Dalot reuniting with Ronaldo, an image has been shared that is being turned into a meme.
It shows Dalot next to Ronaldo on exercise bikes during Portugal training.
While Ronaldo is posing with his thumb up, Dalot’s face is as unimpressed as it gets.
The cameraman may well have just caught Dalot in the wrong moment but fans can’t stop laughing at the defender’s reaction.

What has Ronaldo said in his interview?
Well, what hasn’t he said?
Ronaldo’s interview with Piers Morgan will be released later this week but perhaps the most damaging quotes so far have regarded his current boss.
Ronaldo said of Ten Hag: “I don’t have respect for him because he doesn’t show respect for me. If you don’t have respect for me, I’m never gonna have respect for you.”
How has Ten Hag reacted to Ronaldo’s interview?
According to top journalist Fabrizio Romano, Ten Hag is said to be ‘furious.
Romano told GIVEMESPORT: “I’m told that Erik ten Hag, especially, and his staff are really furious because they see these kind of words as disrespect.
“For Erik ten Hag, it is also not easy now to manage the situation before the World Cup because it’s Manchester United as a club and not just an Erik ten Hag problem. Of course, they are disappointed and they are working on it.”
