Incredible fan footage of Casemiro’s celebrations after Man Utd’s winner goes viral
an footage of Casemiro celebrating Manchester United’s winner against Manchester City has gone viral.
United triumphed in the Manchester derby at Saturday lunchtime to move within a point of Pep Guardiola’s men.
Jack Grealish had given the visitors the lead on the hour mark as they looked to keep pace with Arsenal at the top of the Premier League.
However, two goals in the space of three minutes late on won the game for Man Utd.
The first came in very controversial circumstances.
Casemiro played the ball forward to Marcus Rashford, who was standing in an offside position. Rashford ran through on goal without touching the ball before allowing Bruno Fernandes to sweep the ball past Ederson with City’s defence left confused.
Minutes later, Rashford was onside as he finished from close range following good work from Alejandro Garnacho.
It was celebration time inside Old Trafford as the home supporters burst into ecstasy.
So too did the players.
We’ve already brought you pitchside footage filmed by Manchester United of the incredible scenes between the players and the fans after Rashford’s strike.
And now, fan footage has captured the full reaction of Casemiro during the celebrations.
The former Real Madrid midfielder could barely control his emotions as he hugged fans and teammates alike with sheer and utter joy. He grabs two young kids by the head in a moment they will never forget!
It’s fantastic to see and United fans are, understandably, loving it.

Incredible.
Rio Ferdinand: Casemiro is Man Utd’s most important player
While Fernandes and Rashford will make the headlines following the derby win, Rio Ferdinand believes it’s Casemiro who is the most important player in this squad.
“They would have been a fragile team in that environment there, you could see there were cracks but you can see there’s a togetherness and it’s all knitted together by Casemiro,’ Ferdinand told BT Sport.
“I think he’s been the most important part in the whole jigsaw for them.
“It’s by no means finished, but he’s been a really important part and the glue that sticks everything together. It all goes through him.”
United are now just one point behind City and may well be eyeing Arsenal, who are six points ahead prior to Sunday’s north London derby.
Could they do the unthinkable and challenge for the Premier League title? You certainly wouldn’t bet against them with the kind of passion Casemiro is showing right now.
