Man Utd identified top 3 midfield targets this summer
Premier League giants, Manchester United have reportedly identified three possible midfield targets ahead of the summer transfer window.
An overhaul of the midfield is believed to be a key priority for the 20-times English champions to address in the upcoming transfer window.
According to The Mirror, Man Utd have identified West Ham United’s Declan Rice, Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham and Leeds United’s Kalvin Phillips, as their primary targets ahead of the 2022/23 season.
Man Utd keen on to strengthen their midfield area this summer as Paul Pogba is expected to exit from the club after his contract expires in the summer and the two parties yet to agree an extension.
Phillips is reportedly seen as the most achievable and affordable signing, while West Ham are demanding £150m for Declan Rice.
Bellingham, who made the move to Dortmund from Birmingham City in 2020, has consistently been rumoured with a return to England, but Man Utd will face stiff competition from Liverpool and Man City for the services of 18-year-old midfielder.
