Man Utd prepared to double wages of Ronald Araujo

Premier League giants, Man United have reportedly told Barcelona centre-back Ronald Araujo that they are prepared to double his wages to secure his services during the upcoming transfer window.

The 23-year-old defender’s current deal with the Spanish giants se to expire in 2023 and Catalan club are struggling to come to an agreement over a new contract.

Spanish giants have reportedly made one final contract offer to the South American centre-back and are not prepared to raise their offer, that is believed to be around £3.3m per year.

However, according to ABC, Man United ready to double Barcelona’s offer in order to lure Uruguayan centre-back at Old Trafford and pair him with Raphael Varane in the heart of the Red Devils backline.

The 23-year-old has been a vital player for Xavi’s side during the current campaign, playing 33 games in all competitions, founding back of the net four times in the process.
