Man Utd set to miss out signing of Dortmund’s prolific forward
Manchester United have accepted failure in their pursuit of landing Dortmund hotshot, Erling Braut Haaland, at Old Trafford in the summer, according to the reports.
The Norwegian rising star has been strongly linked with a switch away from the German giants, with hosts of top European teams are circling around him including Manchester United.
However, it was recently reported that the player has already made a decision and he is keen on committing his future with the Red Devils’ direct Premier League rivals Machester City.
According to the Daily Star, the 20-times English champions have now internally accepted defeat in their pursuit of Haaland, and instead, they are looking elsewhere to strengthen their offensive end for the 2022/23 season.
Haaland has played 15 games in the Germany top-tier this campaign, founding back of the net 18 times across those games, while he has also featured in five games within other competitions, where he added another seven to his tally for the campaign.
