Manchester United in danger to miss out signing of Ajax man
Manchester United’s move for Ajax head-coach Erik ten Hag has reportedly been put in doubt.
Dutch tactician is believed to be keen to play a vital role in the Red Devils’ transfer business if he is appointed and may reject an offer that states limited involvement.
According to The Mirror, Ajax boss has issued an ultimatum to the 20-times English champions, stating that he is willing to snub an approach if his demands are not met, despite being no.1 choice for the club to replace Ralf Ragnink.
The 52-year-old is believed to be keen to shape the playing roster to the demands of his style of football, with emphasis placed on lowering the age profile at Old Trafford.
Alongside Paris Saint-Germain head-coach Mauricio Pochettino, Dutchman has emerged as a favourite to take over in Manchester in the summer, with interim boss Ralf Rangnick set to leave job after the end of the 2021/22 season.
