Manchester United-linked midfielder refuses to sign new contract with Leicester City
Youri Tielemans has reportedly told Leicester City that he plans not to extend his contract with the club amid interest from top European teams including Manchester United.
The 24-year-old has again been one of the key players for the Foxes as he has made 27 appearances in all competitions this season.
Tielemans’s current deal at the King Power Stadium is set to expire in June 2023, though, and a number of teams, including the Red Devils, have been heavily linked with his services.
A recent report suggested that the 20-times English champions are plotting a £40m move for the Belgium playmaker in the hope of securing his services ahead of the next campaign.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Tielemans yet to agree a new deal with Leicester City.
Former AS Monaco midfielder has found back of the net 23 times and provided 22 assists in 135 games for his current side since arriving from the French club.
