Paul Pogba sends message to Man Utd fans after his departure

French midfielder, Paul Pogba has sent a message to Manchester United supporters after his exit from Old Trafford was confirmed.

The 20-times English champions announced on Wednesday that Frenchman’s second spell at Old Trafford would come to an end following the conclusion of his deal at the end of June.

The Frenchman’s imminent exit was confirmed just hours before the team also announced that Jesse Lingard will also follow the World Cup winner through the exit door when his contract expires this month.

Paul Pogba, who has been rumoured with a move back to Serie A giants, Juventus, posted a message on Instagram after the Red Devils announced his departure.

The 29-year-old wrote: “I feel privileged to have played for this club. Many beautiful moments and memories but most importantly an unconditional support from the fans. Thank you Manchester United.”

Across his two spells at Old Trafford, Paul Pogba has found back of the net 39 times in 233 games, helping his side claim the League Cup and the Europa League trophies in 2017.
