Roy Keane has made drastic change to his appearance for World Cup final and fans are shook
Roy Keane has sent fans into overdrive after making a drastic change to his appearance for the World Cup final.
The former Manchester United captain has been a regular pundit for ITV during the showpiece in Qatar and produced many huge soundbites along the way.
He is part of the panel for the crunch clash between France and Argentina alongside the likes of Gary Neville and Ian Wright.
But Keane was looking very different sat in the studio. The Irishman’s grey bushy beard has been an iconic part of his look in recent years but this time he decided to change things up, opting for a moustache and goatee combination.
The 51-year-old gave off serious police detective vibes and looked like a completely different person. Naturally, fans on social media were left in disbelief.
“It takes a lot to get me excited but I’m really excited for this game!” 😂
Roy Keane can’t wait to see what could be Lionel Messi’s last ever outing in an Argentina shirt… 🇦🇷

One fan wrote: “Siri, show me what would happen if Roy Keane had a baby with Billy Connelly [sic].”
Another said: “Big fan of Roy Keane turning up to the World Cup Final looking like Dutch van der Linde.”
A third wrote: “Somebody put a pirate’s hat on him and stick him in Pirates of the Caribbean.”
A fourth commented: “Channeling his inner George Michael.”
A fifth added: “What I would give to see @MicahRichards in the studio with Roy reacting to this it’s criminal that they both work for different broadcasters for the world cup.”
It’s normally clean shaven or big beard for Keane and so we’d love to know what the inspiration behind the brand spanking image was.
The former no-nonsense midfielder has been showing a different side to him of late though and went viral for a hilarious celebration in a World Cup kickabout.
Keane scored the winner past his Sky Sports pal Micah Richards and proceeded to take off his shirt and swing it around his head before jumping over a bin.
