Thierry Henry told Rashford to ‘use his brain’ in scathing analysis after Man Utd 2-0 Spurs
Thierry Henry told Marcus Rashford to use his brain in scathing analysis after Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday evening.
Rashford was restored to the starting lineup for the Premier League match at Old Trafford.
The English striker played the full 90 minutes as United emerged victorious.
Thierry Henry lays into Rashford
It was a frustrating evening on a personal level for Rashford.
The 24-year-old had four shots at goal but could not find a way past Hugo Lloris.
Arguably his best chance of the game came in the 74th minute.
Rashford cut inside and unleashed a powerful effort from close range at goal.
But his effort was too close to Lloris and the Frenchman produced a superb reflex-stop.
Henry was very critical of Rashford after the match and told him to use his brain.

Henry on Rashford: ” You open the goal up. Just finish it. Place it, why hard? Side foot, goal. See you later.”

“You open the goal up. Just finish it. Place it, why hard? Side foot, goal. See you later,” he said when watching the opportunity back.
Evra defended Rashford and said: “Not everyone has your brain Henry.”
But Henry wasn’t having any of it and replied: “I know but you have one, use it.”
Brutal from Henry. Rashford may want to listen to Henry’s advice, though.
After all, the Frenchman is one of the greatest finishers in Premier League history, if not the greatest.
Henry: A fantastic performance from United
Ronaldo has become a talking point after he stormed down the tunnel and back to the dressing room before the final whistle had sounded.

“The story is not Ronaldo walking down the tunnel early before the whistle. This was a brilliant performance from United and we don’t need to speak about Ronaldo every day,” Henry added on Amazon Prime Video Sport, per Eurosport.
“When there’s three or four players that can get man of the match, you know it’s been a fantastic performance. There was a lot of security from the manager who managed the game perfectly, and you’re starting to see that the players really respect him.”
